ZAPATA, TEXAS—Flavio S. Gonzalez, 76 passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents Flavio and Gloria Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Petra R. Gonzalez; sons, Xavier (Neomi) Gonzalez, Flavio Sergio (Alexis) Gonzalez Jr.; daughter, Noelia Gonzalez; grandchildren, Nistian Omar Prezaz, Natalie Kathryn Dollins, Alexis Lopez, Marcos Gonzalez, Aaron Gonzalez, Alex Gonzalez, Austin Gonzalez, Adam Gonzalez; great-grandchild, Aurora Gonzalez; brother, Oscar X. Gonzalez; sister, Alma (Juan) Dovalina and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Friday, April 11, 2025, we will open at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery, including full Military Honors by the Zapata County Color Guard.
