ZAPATA, TEXAS---Fernando Martinez 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his sons, Fernando Martinez, Raul Martinez; parents, Ramon and Romana Martinez and a sister, Esperanza Martinez.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his sons, Carlos Martinez, Beto Martinez, Fernando "Ferny" Martinez, Philip Martinez; daughters, Lisa Marie Martinez, Cindy Marie Martinez, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ramon Martinez, Joe Martinez; sisters, Gloria and Blanca and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
