ZAPATA, TEXAS---Fabian Montemayor 56, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Montemayor is survived by his wife, Maricela Montemayor; son, Fabian Jr. (Brenda) Montemayor; daughters, Laura Montemayor (Joe Chick), Irma (Heriberto Jr.) Flores; grandchildren, Kaylee M. Montemayor, Natalia Zapata, Juventino Zapata IV, Lynelle Flores, Heriberto Flores III; and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.


Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
