ZAPATA, TEXAS---Evaristo "Buddy" Gutierrez 48, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his father, Jose Ruben Gutierrez.

Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Liza Muñoz; son, Ruben J. Gutierrez; daughter, Sofia G. (Max) Solis; grandchildren, Aldo De Los Santos, Amada De Los Santos; mother, Aminta F. Gutierrez; brothers, Ruben O. Gutierrez, Rene (Cynthia) Gutierrez; sisters, Vilma (Richard) Gutierrez, Veronica (Arnoldo) Barrera and by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
