ZAPATA, TEXAS---Eusebio "Chevo" Gonzalez 57, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.


Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his wife, Elvira C. Gonzalez; parents, Manuel G. and Oralia Gonzalez and father-in-law, Jose G. Costilla.


Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his son, Eusebio Gonzalez, Jr.; daughters, Sabrina (Leo, Jr.) Martinez, Liza (Gabriel L.) Gonzalez, Jessica (Eduardo) Salinas; grandchildren, Isabelle Marie, Gabriel, Jr., Erika Lizette, Ricardo Javier, James Leo, Eduardo, Jr.; brothers, Manuel G. (Hermelinda) Gonzalez, Jose Luis Gonzalez, Nolberto (Joann) Gonzalez, Homero (Debbie) Gonzalez; sisters, Olga (Juan) Piña, Elda (†Eden) Piña; mother-in-law, San Juanita Costilla and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
