ZAPATA, TEXAS---Esther Gonzalez 73, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Francisca Gonzalez; sisters, Edna G. (†Homero) Garcia and Elena G. (Francisco J.) Guzman.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her sons, Amaro Jr. (Laura) Bustamante, Orlando (Veronica) Bustamante; grandchildren,  Korinthia Bustamante, Kristabel Bustamante, Koraleigh Bustamante, Amaro Bustamante III, Amanda Leisa Bustamante, Alexia Liana Bustamante; great-grandchildren, Nikolas Jai Gutierrez, Kenzie Kai Villarreal; brothers, Juan Ramon (Guadalupe) Gonzalez, Javier J. (San Juana) Gonzalez, Homero H. (Esmeralda) Gonzalez, Mario C. (†Adela) Gonzalez, Pablo I. Gonzalez; sisters, †Elsa G. (Juan D. Jr.) Gutierrez,  Maria Elvia (†Miguel A.) Garza, Maria Elia (Felipe) Garza and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
