SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Ernesto F. Uribe 91, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Uribe is preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia M. Uribe; son, Eduardo F. Uribe and his parents, Ernesto M. and Margarita S. Uribe.

Mr. Uribe is survived by his children, Clara M. Uribe, Patricia U. (Thomas) Houston, Jose A. (Veronica) Uribe, Jaime A. (Monique) Uribe; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, †Amadita Garza, †Victor Uribe, Socorro Cavazos, Jovita Trevino, Manuel Uribe, Ernestina Martinez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Uribe Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas,
