ZAPATA, TEXAS---Erico Luera 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Luera is preceded in death by his parents, Felix, Jr. and Inez Luera.

Mr. Luera is survived by his wife, Adelita G. Luera; sons, Erico Luera, Jr., Obed "OB" Luera, Josue Luera, Samuel Luera; grandchildren, Joshua R. Luera and Valeria R. Luera; sisters, Eliamar (Heriberto) Chapa, Araceli (Jose Trinidad) Perez, Hermelinda (Manuel) Gonzalez, Yolanda Barrera; brothers, Florentino (Eglantina) Luera and Israel (Susana) Luera and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Israel Luera, Florentino Luera, JT Perez, Geronimo Gonzalez, Israel Luera Jr. and LeeRoy Luera.

Pallbearers will be Erico Luera Jr., Obed "OB" Luera, Josue Luera, Samuel Luera, Joshua R. Luera, Rolando Luera, Adan Luera, Ricardo Luera and Melvin Chapa.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a chapel service at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, July 27, 2019 we will open at 8 a.m. and depart at 10 a.m. for a graveside service at Chapeño Cemetery in Chapeño, Texas.
