ZAPATA, TEXAS---Enrique Peña, Jr. 82, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas.

Mr. Peña is preceded in death by his father, Enrique Pena Sr.; step-father, Harold W. Collett Sr.; mother, Nellie B. Collett; brothers, Jaime Pena, Lloyd Pena and step-brother,  Harold W. Collett Jr.

Mr. Pena is survived by his children, Analisa Garza -Rio Grande, TX., Celina Garza – Pharr, TX., Enrique Garza – Rio Grande, TX., Johnny R. Campos Jr. (Christy) – Kingsville, TX., Roberto E. Deleon (Melyn) – C.C. TX., Mark A. Pena (Jennifer) – Zapata, TX., Rosanna M. Pena – Kingsville, TX,. Michael E. Pena (Rachel) – Kingsville, TX., Isabel Pena Leander (Tyrone) – Kingsville, TX., Amanda Pena – Gainesville, TX., Shawn B. Pena (Maria) – Hebbronville, TX., Danny Pena – Arkansas; brothers and sisters, Lyda Garcia (Andy) – Bishop TX., Alvaro Pena – Kingsville, TX., Terry Pena – Kingsville, TX., Robert Collett (DeeDee) – Zapata, TX., Sarah A. Marshall – Round Rock, TX., Mark Collett – Zapata TX and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Dad was a very hard worker with a strong work ethic, always dedicated to his work and family. He enjoyed good music, family get togethers, hunting and fishing. Dad had an eye for quality, beauty, and harmony in all things. He was serious but fun, flirty and charming to say the least.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Beacon Lodge Recreational Hall at 2:00 p.m.

After the burial family will have a luncheon at Beacon Lodge and would like family and friends to attend.

Burial of cremains will follow at Zapata County Cemetery, including full Military Honors by the American Legion Post 486 Color Guard.
