ZAPATA, TEXAS---Emilio Peña 95, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Peña is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Vidal Peña; son, Eliel Peña and a granddaughter, Perla Y. Sanchez-Obregon.

Mr. Peña is survived by his sons, Jose Emilio (Raquel) Peña, Jaime (†Maria Teresa) Peña, Enrique (Graciela) Peña; daughter, Adamina Peña; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild and by numerous other family members and friends.

As per immediate family request, there will be no indoor visitation service. Family and friends are welcome to follow the funeral procession leaving on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 9:30 am from the funeral home to Zapata County Cemetery.

Due to son, Jaime Pena currently undergoing cancer treatments, sons and daughter are respectfully asking family and friends to please remain in your vehicles both at the funeral home and during graveside service.

The Pena family greatly appreciates your consideration and understanding on these necessary cautious measures for everyone to stay safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
