ZAPATA, TEXAS---Elva I. Cuellar 82, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at her residence in Zapata Texas.

Mrs. Cuellar is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Cuellar; parents, Manuel Morales and Emma Morales and a brother, Manuel Morales Jr.

Mrs. Cuellar is survived by her children, Emma (†Jose Gustavo) Barrera, Clarisa Cuellar, Ruben (†San Juana) Cuellar Jr., Carlos (Adela) Cuellar, Elvira (Adolfo) De Los Santos, Manuel Adolfo Cuellar; twenty-grandchildren; eighteen-great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and a sister, Edna M. (Jorge Jr.) Montes and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
