ZAPATA, TEXAS---Eloy Ubalde-Martinez 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Ubalde is preceded in death by his son Jesus Ramon (Edith) Ubalde, parents, Benito and Hortencia Ubalde, brothers, Ramon (Mirthala) Ubalde, Geronimo (Ma. del Jesus) Ubalde and sisters, Armandina (Jose) Martinez and Florinda (Demetrio) Lerma.

Mr. Ubalde is survived by his wife, Beatriz M. Gutierrez de Ubalde; sons, Juan E. (Rosalba) Ubalde, Benito A. (Claudia) Ubalde, daughter, Beatriz (Ramiro) Valadez, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister Elena (†Guadalupe) Gutierrez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, August 6, 2022 a viewing will be held in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. followed with a burial at San Ignacio, Tamaulipas.
