ZAPATA, TEXAS- Elodia S. Gonzalez 95, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Falcon Lake Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Gonzalez; parents, Facundo Santos and Paula Vela; sisters, Manuela Santos and Zulema Garza.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her daughters; Cristina (Jacobo) Garcia, Ninfa G. (Abel Jr.) Juarez, Oralia Flores, Rebecca (Armando) Paredes; grandchildren; Sara (Roger) Salinas, Dina G. Perez, Monica (Aaron) Hanson, Abel G. (Ida) Juarez, Yvette (Cesar) Benavides, Yvonne (David) Zapata, Jessica (Joel) Cavazos, Arnoldo J. "Javy" (Sara) Flores, Armando Jr. (Adrianne) Paredes, Carlos Paredes; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Presciliano Santos and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, we will open at 8:00 a.m. and depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
