ZAPATA, TEXAS---Elma E. Guerra, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Guerra is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Teresa Salinas; brothers, Alonzo Salinas, Jose Enrique Salinas and sisters, Adelaida Castillo and Marina Hernandez.

Ms. Guerra is survived by her children, Maria Elena Guerra, Ruben Guerra, Jr., Rosa Linda Guerra-Gonzalez; grandchildren, Ruben M. (Amber) Guerra, Teresa Guerra, Ruben Marcos Guerra, Alfredo Gonzalez, III, Cristian Mario Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Audrey, Ruben; son-in-law, Alfredo Gonzalez, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Elda Guerra; sister, Teresa S. (Julio Garza) Garza; nieces, Pamala Garza, Monica Gaza and Gina Garza and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
