ZAPATA, TEXAS---Elizardo C. Gonzalez 65, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Evangelina G. Gonzalez; son, Elizardo (Ursula) Gonzalez; daughter, Evelyn Gonzalez (Walo Camarillo); grandchildren, Wally Camarillo, Janeli Gonzalez, Elizah Gonzalez, Eme Camarillo, Emma Camarillo; in-laws, Amando (†Evangelina) Garcia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Amando Jr. (Eloisa) Garcia, Josefina (Juan) Garza, Artemio Garcia, Veronica (Ramon) Benavides, Sandra (Alfonso) Garcia, Claudia (†Daniel) De La Garza, Luis Garcia (Belia Muñoz) and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
