ZAPATA, TEXAS---Eliseo E. Gutierrez Jr. entered eternal peace on June 4 ^th , 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his son, Jose Alfonso; parents, Eliseo E. and Adelaida Cuellar Gutierrez; sister, Maria Del Refugio Gutierrez and his in-laws, Lauro and Cidelia Garza.

Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Belen Garza Gutierrez, sons, Israel (Leslie) Gutierrez, Jaime (Delma) Gutierrez, Eliseo E. III (Irma) Gutierrez; daughter, Esmeralda (Alberto) Sosa; grandchildren, Israel Jr. (Laurie), Jake, Christina (Andrew), Jaime Jr. (Alexa), Cassandra (Noe), Andrea (Rene), Eliseo E. IV, Albert, Charlie, Ricky, Mindy (Roger) and Justin; great-grand-children, Marco, Luke, Jake Ryan, Andrew, Mia, Noe, Nicolas, Jaime III, Leandro, Jayden, Roger IV, Zia, Caleb, Justin Ryan and Rene III; brothers, †Alfredo (Thelma), Jose Francisco (Ella W.), Nicolas (Elsa S.); sisters, Antonia G. (Teofilo, Jr.) Vela, Juanita G. (Oswaldo) Ramirez, Margarita G. (†Andy) Gerush, and Olga G. (Ramiro) Benavides, brothers-in-law, †Lauro (Rosalva), Manuel (Amparo), Abel (Reda); sisters-in-law, Marta (Homero) Elizondo, Rosita Guevara, Patricia (†Marcial) Gonzalez and numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home and we will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at El Ranchito Cemetery.
