ZAPATA, TEXAS---Elida G. Lopez 89, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her husband, Eustorgio Lopez; daughter-in-law, Beatriz M. Lopez; brother, Guadalupe (Manuela) Garza and sister, Blasita (Ramon) Lara.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her sons, Roberto (Juanita O.) Lopez, Rodolfo Lopez; grandchildren, Juanita Lopez, Roberto Jr. (Hilda) Lopez, Jessica Lopez, Raul (Leeann) Lopez, Omar E. (Valeria) Lopez, Yolanda Y. (Michael) Salgado, Beatriz A. Lopez, Leslie N. (Leonel) Rodriguez, Victoria K. Lopez; great-grandchildren, Roberto Enrique Lopez, Rene Lopez, Luke Lopez, Ivan Lopez, Bella M. Lopez, Jessie B. Salgado, Leyla N. Rodriguez, Leo A. Rodriguez; brothers, Adan (Bertha C.) Garza, Juan Roel (Clementina); sisters, Matilde (†Francisco) Cavazos, Elma (Alejandro) Salinas and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, we opened at 8 a.m. and depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.
