ZAPATA, TEXAS---Elena F. Guerra 83, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, in Zapata, Texas.

Elena and her husband David owned and operated D&E Food Craft for 30 years established in 1970 until her retirement in May of 2018.

Mrs. Guerra is preceded in death by her husband, David Guerra; daughter, Lourdes Ramirez; mother, Maria P. Flores; sister, Socorro H. Zabalza.

Ms. Guerra is survived by her son, Jose Fernando Guerra; daughter, Delia Maria G. (Homero, Jr.) Flores; grandchildren, Jose F. Guerra, Jr. (Samantha Alanis), Alexa Marie Guerra (Jaime Gutierrez, Jr.) and Homero Ismael Flores, III (Zaira Villarreal); great-grandchildren, Camila Nicole Guerra, Nickolas David Gutierrez, Kataleya Gizel Flores; sister, Amparo H. Landgrave and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.
