ZAPATA, TEXAS---Efren Solis, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Solis is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Solis.

Mr. Solis is survived by his wife, Romelia Solis; daughters, Gisela (Luis) Barrera, Yadira (Hosman) Flores, Romelia Solis (Oscar Araiza) and Juanita Solis; grandchildren, Kevely Barrera, Lynelle Barrera, Hosman Esteban Flores, Hosman Maximiliano Flores, Rashell Osmara Flores, Oscar Araiza, III; mother, Dora Solis; mother-in-law, Maria Guadalupe Garza; four brothers, one sister, one brother-in-law and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Friday, August 3, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, August 4, 2018 we opened at 8 a.m. and the funeral procession departed at 10 a.m.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
