ZAPATA, TEXAS---Edna S. Valadez 43, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Edna is preceded in death by her father, Sergio Arturo Serna and brother, Sergio Arturo Serna Jr.

Edna is survived by her husband, Fernando Valadez III; sons, Mathew Rae (Brianda) Serna, Fernando Arturo Valadez; daughter, Ariana Noemi Valadez; grandchildren, Maddison Rae Serna, Briella Serna, Mylah Serna; mother, Patricia F. Serna(Homero Valadez), and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. with a catholic service at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services  followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
