ZAPATA, TEXAS — Dora Alicia Peña. entered eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2026, at her residence in Laredo, Texas.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband Edgardo Peña; mother, Maria Sylvia Navarro; sisters, Rosario R. Flores, Evangelina R. Cavazos.

Dora is survived by her sons, Eleazar (Priscilla) Peña, Edgardo Angel Peña; daughter, Denisse Peña; grandchildren, Eleazar Peña Jr., Ezequiel Peña, Elias Peña; father, Manuel Ramiro Ramirez; brother, Manuel Ramiro Ramirez Jr.; sister, Esmeralda R. (Eder) Leal                                  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., with a wake at 7:00 p.m., at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Burial  services will be at Panteon Municipal en Nueva Ciudad Guerrero

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
