ZAPATA, TEXAS---Donald L. Coker 79, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Coker is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Coker; granddaughter, Heather Cobb; parents, Lawrence and Colan Coker; brothers, Charles (Mary) Coker, James Coker; sisters, Dorothy (Cooter) Tanton and Betty Coker.

Mr. Coker is survived by his daughters, Sherry (Dean) Cobb, Cindy (John) Rector; grandchildren, Courtney (Michael) Cates, Joseph (Adrian) Meche, Donald Cobb, Desirae (Erik) Grove, Rosa San Miguel; great-grandson, Blake Grove and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
