ZAPATA, TEXAS---Derly Torres, Jr., passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Derly is survived by his parents, Derly and Otilia Torres; sister, Thalia Torres; brother, Hector Alejandro Torres; nephews and nieces, Miley Marie Valverde, Kailey Valverde, Thalia Natalie Valverde, Jadiel Hernandez; paternal grandparents, Domingo and Aurelia Torres; maternal grandparents, Rogelio and Maria G. Gonzalez; uncles and aunts, Rogelio (Martha) Gonzalez, Jr., Dora Mirtha Gonzalez (Tiburcio Quintanilla), Jesus (Josie) Torres, Juan Angel (Olga) Torres, Cynthia Torres and Sergio Torres and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. graveside service at Zapata County Cemetery.
