ZAPATA, TEXAS---Demetrio Olivarez, Jr. 66, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Olivarez is preceded in death by his grandson, Chayse Olivarez.
Mr. Olivarez is survived by wife of 39 years, Marisela G. Olivarez; sons, Casimiro (Margarita) Olivarez, Demetrio III (Viviana) Olivarez; daughter, Dee Marie Olivarez (Mario A. Benavidez, Jr.); grandchildren, Casimiro Olivarez, Jr., Tristian Olivarez, Derrick Olivarez, Dominic Olivarez, Jax Benavidez, Jade Benavidez; parents, Demetrio and Elida Olivarez; sister, Nelda (Arturo) Montemayor and by numerous other family members and friends.
A private service will be held for immediate family members only, due to COVID.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
