ZAPATA, TEXAS---David J. Loftis 72, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Loftis is preceded in death by his grandson, Jason; parents, Bobby L. and Imogene Loftis; brothers, Johnny Loftis and Bobby Loftis.

Mr. Loftis is survived by his wife of 40 years, Graciela Loftis; son, David J. Jr. (Gisselle) Loftis; daughter, Karen Garland; grandchildren, David J. Loftis, III, Andrew Loftis, Kayla Jean Loftis, Alison Loftis; brother, Ray Lynn Loftis; sister, Beverly Loftis Root and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
