ZAPATA, TEXAS---Daniel A. "Danny" Gonzalez 21, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

Heaven has gained an angel that left behind a family that will miss him dearly. Our Danny was a brilliant, kind, and gentle soul that always greeted you with a beautiful smile.  He was known to always go above and beyond to unselfishly help others. Danny was an honest young man who treated everyone with kindness and utmost respect. We will forever miss his sweet nature, loving and considerate demeanor, and charming humor.

Danny is survived by his parents, Daniel and Abigail Gonzalez; twin brother, Alejandro D. Gonzalez (Morgan K. Waters); paternal grandparents, Jaime A. and Carmen B. Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, †Edelmiro and Arlina Morales; uncles and aunts, Jaime A. Jr. (Rina) Gonzalez, Annabel G. (†Romeo) Alvarez, Oneida (Andres) Guerra, Edelmiro Jr. (Michelle) Morales and by numerous cousins and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Monday March 18, 2024 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
