ZAPATA, TEXAS---Corando Buruato 69, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Buruato is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Petra Buruato; brothers, Miguel Angel Buruato, Lauro Buruato and sister, Vilma Castillo.

Mr. Buruato is survived by his wife of 46 years, Thelma F. Buruato; sons, Corando "Cory" Jr. (Maritza) Buruato, Carlos Miguel (Deysi Chapa) Buruato; daughter, Julissa (Gabriel) Lopez; grandchildren, Jessalynn, Jaqueline, Cory III, Oscar, Madisson, Modesto, Mickey, Danaly, Carlitos Jr., Damian, Gael, Neysa (Benito) Cruz, Gabriel Jr., Marlen; brothers, Ramiro (Irma) Buruato, Ismael (Irma) Buruato; sisters, Petra (JJ) Benavides, Leticia (Eliseo) Rosas, Thelma (Rudy) Bravo, Sylvia (Leslie Chick) Buruato; sister-in-law, Martha Garcia Buruato; brother-in-law, Val Castillo, Jr. and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a wake at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
