ZAPATA, TEXAS---Consuelo Herrera 98, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Herrera is preceded in death by her son, Guadalupe (Felicitas) Hernandez and grandsons, Roberto S. Lopez and Sergio Hernandez.

Ms. Herrera is survived by her son, Oscar (Laura) Hernandez; daughters, Maria Luisa (†Francisco) Sandoval, Angelina (Joaquin) De La Rosa, Ines (†Javier) Palos, Cleotilde (Salvador) Orozco, Minerva (Gilberto) Lopez and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 9 a.m. with chapel service at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
