ZAPATA, TEXAS---Celinda G. Martinez 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Martinez; brother, Carlos Garcia; in-laws, Martin and Berta Martinez and a brother-in-law, Jaime Martinez.

Ms. Martinez is survived by her son, Martin (Rebeka) Martinez; daughter, Celinda (Eduardo) Jasso; grandchildren, Elyssa Jasso, Martin Martinez Jr., Jayleen Jasso, Kinzey Martinez, Kalysta Martinez, Cataleya Jasso; parents, Martin and Maria T. Garcia; brothers, Martin (Marivel) Garcia, Ernesto (Claudia) Garcia, Enrique (Frances) Garcia; sisters, Maita (Dr. Roberto) Nuñez, Adriana (Luis) Lopez; brothers-in-law, Juan J. (Josefa) Martinez, Martin E. (Maria D.) Martinez; sisters-in-law, Berta Alicia Chapa and Eva (Adolfo) Aguirre and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
