ZAPATA, TEXAS---Celia "$ally" Medrano 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Medrano is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Maria Ayala; brothers, Jorge Ayala and Ernesto Ayala; sisters, Rose Ayala Caro and in-laws, Benito and Porfiria Medrano.

Mrs. Medrano is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jaime Medrano; brothers, Francisco Ayala, Antonio Ayala, Alberto Ayala, Javier Ayala, Gerardo Ayala, Ernesto Ayala; sisters, Maria Elena Ayala, Rosa Ayala; brothers-in-law, Jose Eugenio (Gracie) Medrano, Manuel Albino Medrano (Celia Balderas) sister-in-law, Carmen (Sigifredo Jr.) Gonzalez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Medrano Cemetery in Falcon, Texas.
