ZAPATA, TEXAS— Celia M. Flores, 78, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Celia is preceded in death by husband Pedro G. Flores and daughter Maria Celia Mata.

Celia is survived by her sons, Santiago Flores, Pedro G. (Esthela) Flores Jr., Juan (Enid) Flores, Mariano (Ana Medina ) Flores; daughter, Amada M. (Paul) Hurtado, Alicia Margarita Flores; son-in-law, Alfredo Mata; grandchildren, Marina (Ned) Cokerovic, Crystal (Carlos) Perez, Jose Eduardo Flores, Guillermo Flores, Vanessa Flores, Pedro G. Flores, Cythali (Leo) Armendariz, Roy Flores. Klaryssa Flores, Juan P. Flores, Christian R. Flores, Breanah Flores, Josiah Flores, Evelyn Flores, Paul E. Hurtado Jr., Esteban R. Hurtado, Emalee J. Hurtado, Alfredo (Ashley) Mata, Miguel Angel Mata, Samuel Mata, Mario A. Mata, 10 great-grandchildren and by numerous other family members and friends.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, we will open at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
