ZAPATA, TEXAS---Catarino Perez 57, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas.

Mr. Perez is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mercedes Perez.

Mr. Perez is survived by his life companion, Anabel Salazar; son, Martin (Zahra) Perez; daughters, Kathleen Garcia (Rogelio Buruato, III), Karina (Juan) Chapa, Elizabeth (Julian) Chavez, Adyadeth (Tarzan) Vela, Kristabell Salazar; grandchildren, Zainab, Asif, Talha, Muhamad, Zakiya, Nusaybah Perez and Idalynna Buruato; brothers, Jesus (Felipa) Perez, Manuel Perez, Miguel (Mage) Perez and a sister, Nicky (Luis) Delgado and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
