ZAPATA, TEXAS---Casiano Moreno 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Moreno is preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Guadalupe Herrera de Moreno and by his second wife, Socorro Chavez de Moreno; sons, Daniel Moreno, Rafael Moreno; daughters, Victoria Rodriguez de Moreno, Maria De Los Angeles Gonzalez de Moreno; granddaughters, Veronica Rodriguez and Glenda Rodriguez.

Mr. Moreno is survived by his son, Ignacio (Maria Celia) Moreno; daughters, Francisca Moreno de Salazar, Maria Del Jesus (Arnoldo) Saenz, Maria Guadalupe Moreno, Noemi Carmona (Ovidio) Garcia; thirty-one grandchildren and by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, May 15, 2021 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and depart at 9:30 a.m. for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
