ZAPATA, TEXAS- Blanca E. Tovar de Martinez 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Martinez, is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Armandina Tovar; brothers, Rodolfo Tovar, Victor A. Tovar, Javier Tovar; sisters, Yolanda (Mario) Ambriz, Alba Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Roberto Gonzalez.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Agustin Martinez; son, Agustin O. Martinez; daughters, Emma (Oscar) Villarreal, Deyanira Martinez; grandchildren, Grecia Martinez, Rubi Martinez, Saul Garcia, Mia Garcia, Angel Garcia, Rodrigo Garcia, Cristhian Perez; sister, Consuelo Gonzalez (Pedro); sisters-in-law, Socorro Tovar, Olga Tovar; brother-in-law, Antonio Gonzalez and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
