SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS--- Benito M. Solis 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Solis is preceded in death by his son, Juan J. Solis; brother, David Solis and parents, Estanislao and Maria Solis.

Mr. Solis is survived by his significant other, Cecilia Flores; sons, Javier (Beth) Solis, Benito M. Jr. (Nilda) Solis, Miguel Solis, Armando Solis and Ricardo Solis, daughter, Leticia Solis; grandchildren, Benito M. III (Mirely) Solis, Marissa (Guillermo) Chapa, Melissa (Osvaldo) Chapa, Clarissa (Steve) Villarreal, Juan J. Jr. (Adriana) Solis, David (Jimena) Solis, and Jorge Alejandro Solis; great grandchildren , Alexandra Solis, Delissa Chapa, Jay Solis, Ryan Solis, Osvaldo Chapa III , Oscar Chapa, Alissa Chapa, Jordan Villarreal, Erick Villarreal, Aaron Solis; brother, Joaquin (Sylvia) Solis; sisters, Elia Solis, Adela Solis; mother of his children, San Juana D. Solis and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Martinez Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas.
