SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Belia R. Benavides 95, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 peacefully surrounded by her family in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Benavides is preceded in death by her son, Omar A. (Hermelida) Muñoz; grandsons, Flumencio Muñoz Jr., Omar Muñoz Jr., Luis A. Lozano Jr.;  great grandson, Flumencito Muñoz; parents, Jesus and Juana Benavides; brother, Arturo L. Benavides.

Mrs. Benavides is survived by her sons, Flumencio (Amada L.) Muñoz, Luis A. (Bettina) Muñoz; daughter, Edna Amada (Luis A.) Lozano; grandchildren, Javier E.(Leticia V.) Muñoz, Lisa Y. Muñoz, Consuelo L. (Romeo) Flores, Arturo L. Muñoz, Luis A. Jr. (Erika)  Muñoz, Bettina Urbano, Linda A. (Oscar)  Montemayor, Daniel A. Lozano, Edna A. Lozano, Belia R. (Luis) Garcia, Clarissa (Serapio III) Garcia, Melissa Muñoz (Adalberto Perez); and by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren,  nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Due to the current pandemic family has requested a private viewing for immediate family only. Public can remain in their vehicles while at funeral home and follow in the procession to cemetery and again remain in the vehicles while funeral is taking place at Panteon Del Pueblo, San Ygnacio, Texas. Family would like to thank everyone for the flowers, food, prayers or any other acts of kindness.

Visitation hours will be held Monday, November 9, 2020, at 9 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Panteon Del Pueblo, San Ygnacio, Texas.
