ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Beatriz Gutierrez de Ubalde 82, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Ubalde is preceded in death by her husband, Eloy Ubalde; son Jesus Ubalde; brothers, Ramon Gutierrez, Manuel Gutierrez, Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez; sisters, Petra Mendoza, Porfiria Garcia, Hermiña Amaro and Evangelina Ramirez.

Mrs. Ubalde is survived by her sons, Juan Eloy (Rosalba) Ubalde, Benito (Claudia) Ubalde; daughter, Beatriz E. (Ramiro) Valadez, grandchildren Juan Eloy Ubalde Jr., Patricia Ubalde, Stephanie Martinez, Diego Ubalde, Beatriz Ubalde, Jessica Miranda Ubalde, Benito Ubalde, Berenice (Samuel) Gomez, Maria Elena (Modesto Jr.) Torres, Ramiro Valadez Jr., Maria Abigail Valadez Melissa Edith Ubalde, Clarissa Monserath Ubalde, Gisselle Anahi Ubalde, Anett Petra Ubalde, Jesus Ramon Ubalde Jr. and by numerous great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, we will open at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m.

Committal services  followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
