SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Azucena "Tate" Garcia 78, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Ms. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel M. and Cruz H. Garcia; brothers, Abelardo Garcia, Adonaldo Garcia and Abel Garcia.
Ms. Garcia is survived by her brother, Manuel (Lorena) Garcia; sisters, Amelda (†Ramiro) Martinez, Alma (Dario) Guerra, Armandina (Joel) Solis; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Garcia, Rosa Garcia she raised her nephew, Manuel and niece, Amanda G. Aleman and grandnephews, Manuel Garcia, IV, Antonio Garcia, Gary Garcia and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 8 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. Following will be the funeral procession at 9:30 a.m. for a church service at 10 a.m. at Christian Union Church in San Ygnacio, Texas.
Committal services will follow at Panteon Uribe in San Ygnacio, Texas.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
