ZAPATA, TEXAS—Arturo Alfredo Garcia 39, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Arturo, is preceded in death by his father, Omar Garcia; paternal grandfather, Manuel Garcia; maternal grandparents, Gregorio Rene & Marcia C. Guzman; sister, Jo Marie Garcia; paternal uncles, Rogelio Garcia, Rolando Garcia; maternal aunt, Elia Nora Montes.

Arturo is survived by his daughters, Monica Michelle Esquivel, Aaliyah Nicole Garcia, Aubrey Elizabeth Garcia; mother, Elva Nelia Garcia (Olivero Ramos); brothers, Omar Garcia Jr. (Arianna Flores), Mario Orlando Garcia, Ricky Lee Garcia; paternal grandmother, Isidra Garcia; nephews & nieces, Omar Rene Garcia, Jose Alejandro Garcia, Camilla Rose Garcia, Deritzia Garcia; paternal uncles & aunts, Pilar Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Samuel Garcia, Cynthia Perez, Yolanda Mcpick, Juan Garcia; maternal uncles and aunts, Gregorio Rene (Marta) Guzman Jr. Gerardo Roel (Kristy) Guzman, Elsa N. (John) Rosales, Elida N. (Gustavo) Solis, Erica N. (Darius) Wright, Baldemar Montes.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, we will open our doors at 9:00 a.m. The funeral procession will depart at 11:00 a.m. for a 11:30 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
