ZAPATA, TEXAS Araceli R. Rodriguez 79, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Laredo Texas.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her husband, Regulo M. Rodriguez; parents, Jose Alfredo and Antonia Ramirez; brothers, Jaime Ramirez, Ibrahim Ramirez; sister, Sandra Ramirez.

Mrs. Rodríguez is survived by her sons, Regulo (Stephanie) Rodríguez Jr., Esequiel (Angela) Rodríguez; daughters, Araceli Rodriguez (Alvin Alvarez), Angelica (Armando) Lerma; grandchildren, Julián Delgado Jr. (Angie Cervantes), Carlos (Victoria) Delgado, Regulo "Trey" Rodríguez III, Jaime E. "Jimmy" Rodríguez, Timothy E. "Timmy" Rodríguez, Regina R. Rodríguez, Armando Catón Lerma III, Alexandro Jacob Lerma, Alexa K. Lerma, Adrián K. Lerma, Alvin Michael Alvarez; brothers, José Alfredo Ramírez, Armando Ramírez, Javier Ramírez; sisters, Yolanda Ramírez de Godínez, Sylvia Ramírez de Torres, Blanca E. Ramírez de Alaniz, Antonia Ramírez de Leal, Lucia Ramírez, Armandina Ramírez de Ibarra, Alehida Ramírez de Villa and by numerous nephews, nieces, family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
