ZAPATA, TEXAS---Antonio "Choco" Diaz-Rodriguez 48, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, Rito and Maria Concepcion Diaz and a brother, Rito Gonzalo Diaz.

Antonio is survived by his sons, Rito Antonio (Thessa Rocha) Diaz, Nathanial Samuel Diaz; daughters, Anisha Sujey Diaz, Darlene Lynett Diaz; grandchildren, Jaziel Antonio Diaz, Elliot Alejandro Rocha, Nathan N. Rocha, Devin I. Rocha, Julian L. Rocha, Daleyza F. Diaz; brothers, Fernando Diaz, Luciano (Yolanda) Diaz, Arturo Diaz, Aaron (Liz) Diaz, David I. (Nancy) Diaz; sisters, Juana Maria (Raul) Serrato, Reina A. (Victor) Rodriguez, Griselda Diaz and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
