ZAPATA,TEXAS--- Angela Rodriguez 45, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

   Angela is preceded in death by her father Alfredo Goinzalez; in laws, Regulo M. (Araceli) Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Rogue M. Gonzalez and Hortencia Piña; maternal grandparents, Benito and Eloisa Martinez.

   Angela is survived by her husband of ten years, Esequiel Rodriguez; mother, Mercedes M. Gonzalez; brothers, Juan A. (Julia) Gonzalez, Marcos G. (Crystal) Gonzalez; nephews, Deric Gonzalez, Dominic Gonzale; nice, Dalexah Gonzalez; brother in-law, Regulo Jr. (Stephanie) Rodriguez; sisters in-law, Aracely Rodriguez (Alvin Alvarez), Angelica (Armando) Lerma; and by her fur babies, Gretty and Sammy; and by numerous other family members and friends.

   Angela was formally a Pre K4 teacher at Zapata North Elementary School.

   Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

  On Monday, November 9, 2026, we will open at 8:00 a.m., depart at 9:45 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

  Committal Services will follow at Zapata Co. Cemetery.
