ZAPATA, TEXAS---Andrea M. Garza passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the age of 96.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband, Juan M. Garza; daughter and son in law, Leonor G. (Heriberto Jr.) Garcia; parents, Zaragoza and Celsa Martinez; brothers, Narciso Martinez, Zaragoza Martinez, Jr., Mariano Martinez; sisters, Juana M. Juarez, Eustorgia M. Salinas, Jovita Martinez, Maria M. Garcia, Natalia M. Avalos.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her son Juan Jorge (Sylvia T) Garza; grandchildren, Leonor E. (Alonzo) Chapa, Heriberto III (Claudia) Garcia, Lourdes G. (Cuatro) Hinkel, Juan M. (Linda) Garcia, Jorge A. (Jennifer) Garcia, Lizette Garcia, Nereida Garza, Juan Martin (Josefina) Garza, Vianey (Alfonso) Dominguez; and by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
