ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ana Maria M. Lozano, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in        Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Lozano is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Angelina Mercado; brother, Mario (Olga) Mercado; ex-husband, Vicente Romeo Lozano.

Mrs. Lozano is survived by her sons, Roel Romeo Lozano, Eduardo Vicente Lozano (Veronica Verver), Manuel Lozano (Cynthia Elizondo); grandchildren, Vicente Romeo Lozano; brother, Felix Mercado Jr. and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. A chapel service will start at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery
