ZAPATA, TEXAS---Aminta de Lourdes Gutierrez 81, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Gutierrez is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Ruben Gutierrez; son, Evaristo "Buddy" Gutierrez; parents, Leonardo Flores and Ofelia G. Flores.

Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her children, Vilma G. (Ricardo) Gutierrez, Ruben D. Gutierrez, Veronica G. (Arnoldo) Barrera, Rene O. (Cynthia) Gutierrez; siblings, Hildegardo (Olga) Flores, Viola F. (†Mauro) Ramirez, †Lina F. (Hector L.) Garcia, Leonardo G. (Maria) Flores; grandchildren, John Will Richmond, Jr., Kevin James Richmond, Daniel Adrian (Nallely) Gutierrez, Ruben Gutierrez, Adrian A. (Brianna) Barrera, Brianna A. Barrera, Sarah Barrera, Rene D. Jr. (Priscilla) Gutierrez, Cassandra (Stephen) G. Martinez, Ruben Jaime Gutierrez; great-grandchildren, Brianna, John, Devin, Diego, Alexander and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. with a vigil at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
