ZAPATA, TEXAS---Amalia Hinojosa 85, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Hinojosa is preceded in death by her husband, Procopio Hinojosa; parents, Refugio and Adela Guzman; brothers, Antonio Guzman, Lorenzo Guzman and sisters, Estela Lopez and Genoveva Guzman.

Ms. Hinojosa is survived by her daughters, Fermina Hinojosa and Martha Hinojosa; sisters, Maria Del Refugio (Israel) Gonzalez, Elma (Jose Luis) Zaragoza; brother, Francisco Guzman and by numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 9 a.m. with a chapel service at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
