ZAPATA, TEXAS— Amada M. Herrera 95, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Herrera is preceded in death by her husband, Lucio Herrera; parents, Genaro Navarro and Ramona Martinez; brothers, Sergio Navarro, Ramon Navarro, Andres Navarro and Bartolome Navarro.

Ms. Herrera is survived by her; son, Lucio (Anna) Herrera Jr.; grandson, Lucio Herrera III; granddaughter, Jacqueline R. Herrera; sisters, Guadalupe N Yzaguirre, Romelia N. Guzman and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 am for a funeral mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Zapata, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
