ZAPATA, TEXAS- Alonzo Juarez 91, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at his residence in Zapata Texas.

Mr. Juarez is preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Claudia Teresa Juarez; parents, Alfonso Juarez and Maria Celia Longoria; brothers, Beto Juarez, Ignacio Juarez, Jose Maria Juarez; sisters, Anita Juarez, Consuelo Juarez Rodriguez.

Mr. Juarez is survived by his wife; Beatriz B. Juarez; sons, Jose Alonzo (Anna M.) Juarez, Martin (Raquel V.) Juarez, Ricardo M. (Mayra) Juarez; grandchildren; Victor (Nancy) Juarez, Jose Eduardo (Maribel) Juarez, Hector (Sandy) Juarez, Brianna Juarez, Martin Jr. (Zenaida) Juarez, Marco Alonzo (Kassandra) Juarez, Raquel Adriana (David) Salas, Melanie Juarez (Jose D. De Leon) Ricardo M. Juarez Jr., Ruben Alonzo Juarez, Rufino E. Juarez and by numerous great grandchildren and other family members.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
