ZAPATA, TEXAS---Alicia V. Ramirez 84, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Emilio Ramirez Jara; brother, Alejandro Valadez and sisters, Juanita Valadez and Rosa V. Esquivel.

Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her sons, Pablo Ramirez, Ulises (Beatriz M.) Ramirez; daughter, Anna Margarita Arriaga; grandchildren, Oscar Alexis Ramirez, †Vlenda Ramirez, Erik Ramirez, Luis Gerardo Ramirez, Adriana Ramirez, Emily Ramirez, Edward Ramirez and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A chapel service was held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
