ZAPATA, TEXAS— Our beloved Alejandra Alegria passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, surrounded by her family at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Alegria is preceded in death by her parents Rosendo and Amelia G. Alegria; sister, Baby Guadalupe Alegria; grandnephew, Baby Carlos Jesus Gonzalez; nephew, Abelardo Dominguez Jr.; niece, Anna Lisa Dominguez Gutierrez; paternal grandparents, Abelardo and Alejandra O. Alegria; maternal grandparents, Felix Garcia Benavides and Amada G. Garcia.

Ms. Alegria is survived by her sister, Amelia (Abelardo) Dominguez; niece, Melissa (Jose Luis) Gonzalez; grand nieces, Amelia Alexandra (Erick) Torres, Arianna Lisette Cuellar (Osvaldo Sosa); grand nephews, Manuel Jesus Gutierrez IV, Abelardo Dominguez III and numerous cousins, family members and friends.

Pallbearers; Abelardo Domínguez III, José Luis Gonzalez, Manuel Jesús Gutiérrez, Erick Torres, Osvaldo Sosa, Amelia Alexandra Torres and Arianna Lisette Cuellar.

A special thank you to Alfa Home Health & Hospice, Ms. Norma and Ms. Elva Garcia for always taking care of our loved Alejandra.

A service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, we will open at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
